About us

It started with an incubator full of quail eggs, and a life long love for animals.

The incubator has since then been filled several times, and has helped bring so many smol bundles of birbs to the world!

But how to find quail related items? That was a hard one to figure out. You see, as a cat or dog owner we quite easily find items relating to our smallest and furriest family members, but as quailies? Not so easily. 

As is custom for me, if I don't find it, I make it myself. Sitting around and waiting for someone else to fix some kind of problem or difficulty has never worked for me, so I tend to go all in when I set my mind at something. And that is how Fluffy Potatoes came to be!

Why the name, you might ask? Well, there are so many cute names for beloved animals and pets, but when you think about it, it's quite easy to picture your pet as round or oval shaped, and fluffy, is it not? I can easily picture our cats or our quail as small (or big) fluffy potatoes. It might be a bit harder if you keep snakes as pets. In that case, maybe a fluffy cucumber could do, but that doesn't have the same ring to it as Fluffy Potatoes, and would be too spesific for the items at sale here😂
